It reads as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions, and Easements of Autumn Wind<br>4. ARCHITECTURAL AND USE CONTROL<br>A. Architectural Control Committee; Approval of Plans<br>2. Approval of plans<br>The ACC shall have the right to disapprove the design or installation of a swimming pool or any other recreational structure or equipment which is not suitable or desirable, in the ACC&#8217;s opinion, for any reason, aesthetic or otherwise; and in so passing upon such design or proposed installation, the ACC shall have the right to take into consideration the visual impact of the structure and the noise impact of the related activities upon all of the Properties located in the close proximity<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">All other noise related concerns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For all other noise related concerns, including installation or operation of a heat pump or air conditioning unit please follow the appropriate municipal guidance and regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sammamish<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.codepublishing.com\/WA\/Sammamish\/html\/Sammamish08\/Sammamish0815.html\">Chapter 8.15 PUBLIC DISTURBANCE NOISE (codepublishing.com)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also here: <a href=\"https:\/\/sammamishwa.civicweb.net\/filepro\/document\/3956\/O2002-105.pdf\">https:\/\/sammamishwa.civicweb.net\/filepro\/document\/3956\/O2002-105.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sammamish Municipal code does <em>not <\/em>give decibel limits and does not mention heat pump or air conditioners. It says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>It is unlawful for any person to cause, or for any person in possession of property to allow to originate from said property, sound that is a public nuisance. The following sources of sound are defined to be public nuisances, except to the extent that they may be specifically exempted by other provisions of this chapter<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;and includes sources such as: motor vehicle, siren, audi equipment, and public address system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Special Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Q: Do King County noise limits apply?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A: No, they do not. <a href=\"https:\/\/kingcounty.gov\/~\/media\/Lambert\/documents\/KCNoiseCodeFactSheet.ashx?la=en\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/kingcounty.gov\/~\/media\/Lambert\/documents\/KCNoiseCodeFactSheet.ashx?la=en\">King County sets specific decibel limits for noise<\/a>. The Department of Ecology sets noise\/decibel standards as a guide for jurisdictions that have not adopted a local noise ordinance. Sammamish has adopted a noise ordinance, and therefore, the Department of Ecology or King County regulations would not apply. Sammamish Municipal Code (SMC) 8.15, Public Disturbance Noise, does not specify decibel requirements or specifically regulate noise from air conditioners\/heat pumps. However, permits are required for the installation of these unit, and they are inspected to ensure they abide by the manufacturer\u2019s installation instructions.\u00a0<br><br>Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
